Welcome to
Literary Agents
and placing your work
We scout for agents such as: United Agents, Annette Green, David Higham, WMA, Caroline Sheldon, Eve White, Greenhouse Literary Agency, Conville & Walsh, Celia Catchpole, LAW, MBA, RCW, RLA, Felicity Bryan, Andrew Lownie (and others).
Agents welcome our submissions and respond quickly because we pass through quality authors, and we don't charge them a fee. We have a longstanding relationship with the trade - we know who's looking for what right now - and we work mainly by word of mouth and referrals.
When you come to us for a report you're paying for our editorial expertise, not to get you an agent. However, if your manuscript is ready to submit, and the editor gives us the go-ahead, then we'll ask to consider the MS, post revision. Kathryn or Helen will look at it and if they love it they will pass it through to an agent.
There is no charge for the submission process to you or the agent; we receive a one-off commission if you get a publishing deal as a result of us passing you through.
We also keep a record of all payments you have made so that we can allow a credit of 50% which is set against any success fee due upon publication. Have a look at the Kids'Corner or Cornerstones rates pages for more information.
‘Cornerstones recommended a writer to me.Within days of receiving the script I knew I had to represent it; within ten days of sending the book out, a publisher offered for it.
How’s that for a success story!’
