Payment is required at the time that the services listed below are first commissioned. All prices include VAT at the appropriate rate where applicable (5% loyalty discount for repeat editorial reports, not applicable during additional promotional offers).

Mini Critique Report
£180 for manuscripts up to 30 pages inc. synopsis; £1.20 per additional page up to 50 pages.
Picture Book Report up to 1,000 words
£135 plus £45 for each additional book in a series and £55 for each additional standalone.
Beginner/Early Reader up to 5,000 words
£165 for General Report.
£225 for In-Depth Report.
Read Alone up to 10,000 words
£175 for General Report.
£235 for In-Depth Report.
Middle Readers 10,000-25,000 words
£215 for a General Report.
£275 for an In-Depth Report.
Middle Readers and Young Adult
25,000-50,000 words
£250 for a General Report.
£300 for an In-Depth Report.
For manuscripts over 50,000 words
General Report - minimum £250 or £5 per 1000 words
In-Depth Report - minimum £300 or £6 per 1000 words.
Consultancy Report includes a 1.5 hr brainstorm session with your editor
Minimum £400, or £8 per 1,000 words if greater than 50,000 words. Add £100 to the original price of a report if under 50,000 words.

Mini Masterclass £375
Copy-editing
Minimum £200. For manuscripts above 20,000 words £30 an hour.
Proofreading
Minimum £185. For manuscripts above 30,000 words £25 an hour.
If you require a faster Report turnaround than the normal 3-5 weeks, this can usually be arranged at an additional cost.
Commission on Publication
If we submit your MS to agents we don't charge you for our editorial input or for our submission time or introduction to our industry contacts and we don't charge the agent for taking you on. We only charge a one-off fee on your publication deal - so based only on results - and our success fee is 10% of the initial Worldwide advance plus VAT, with no ongoing royalties. (Please also refer to section on 'submission to agents'.)
