Lee Weatherly runs the Savvy Writer Workshop and How to Self-edit and Submit for adult and children's writers. She'san award-winning children’s author and her acclaimed novels for young teenagers include Child X, Missing Abby and Kat Got Your Tongue. For younger readers, Lee is the author of the popular Glitterwings Academy series, as well as two upcoming series, Pocket Cats and Seahorse Stars; she is also the author of two picture books. For adults, Lee is the co-author with Helen Corner of 'Teach Yourself How to Write a Blockbuster', and is a 'gifted writing' coach, teaching workshop courses across the southeast. She is currently working on a trilogy for young adults, to be published by Usborne.
Lee co-founded Kids' Corner, the children’s division of Cornerstones, as well as being a consultant for Cornerstones on adult fiction and non-fiction. She also processed the slush pile and worked in the Film & TV department of David Higham.
