Cornerstones is a leading UK literary consultancy, established in 1998. We’re passionate about writing, editing and launching new authors, and we scout for literary agents.

All our editors have been chosen for their agenting, publishing or writing experience; specialising in a range of fiction, non-fiction and children’s writing. They use their editorial expertise to show you what is and isn't working in your MS and how to fix it, with an eye on marketability and what agents and publishers are looking for. Assigning the right editor to your mansucript is a key part of our service and we may take a few days to find a perfect match. We believe we're in the best position to do that for you - which is why we don't advertise our editors on our website - but we're always happy to talk through their credentials and the reasons for our choice.

The first step is to contact us and we'll have a look at your first chapter and synopsis and if we can help, we will. We don't take every author on but we will explain why. An introductory letter will also be emailed - please read this carefully - as it explains what you can expect from our services.
